Well done to Luke, Quinn, Indie and Harper who attended the Taranaki Winter Champs in Stratford last week.

Day One and Two saw plenty of Pb’s, ribbons and medals! Day Three saw much of the same consistent swimming, bringing home more ribbons and medals. Some of our swimmers also pushed themselves by taking on longer distances of up to 400m.

These swimmers have been very dedicated with their winter swimming and have travelled to Stratford pool up to 4 times a week. It’s a huge effort and requires a lot of dedication. It’s awesome to see that the hard work is paying off. Congratulations Team!

Our club would also like to extend a massive Thank- you to the Taranaki Electricity Trust who have recently granted the club money to cover pool hireage costs. As a club we utilise 3 different pool facilities to provide swimming lessons to children from Learn to Swim through to our competitive swimmers. These pool hireage costs are a large portion of our clubs costs and this grant from TET allows our club to keep our fee's low and as accessible as possible to as many of our families.

Well done to Luke and Quinn who attended the Stratford Flyers Carnival recently and came home with plenty of ribbons! Excellent swimming from them both with some new personal best times.🏆

Congratulations to Indie, Luke and Harper who competed at the Kiwi West Aquatics Champs in Feilding over the weekend.

Both luke and Harper came away with medals and Indie got 4th overall for 13yr old girls based on accumulated points.

🥳Congratulations to our wonderful swimmers who took home awards last night at our prize giving! It's been a jam packed season with lessons, club nights, the Summer Series swim league and competitions. Some amazing swimming and laughs were had by everyone!

Thank you to our parents for making sure the kids turned up 😆 and our coaches, Junior coaches Committee members and local businesses who have supported our club this season. Your support has been invaluable- Thank you!

Prize-giving will be the 21st May. Doors will be open from 7.30 pm and prize-giving will commence at 7.45 pm. Venue to be confirmed in the coming days.

Unfortunately we've had a notification that the pool is out of action this week due to some water quality issues that are under investigation.

We will keep everyone updated via email and Facebook as information becomes available.
