Hey team,
This is a bit of an essay but just thought I’d hop on here to chuck up a very important update.
Our next meeting will be taipa for kings birthday weekend which should be an awesome weekend away with some awesome company.

This also comes with the news that after kings birthday weekend, I will be stepping away from stockcars for the near future. This has come due to various reasons including budget and priorities. While I have loved racing the Stockcar, work must come first and I am commited to giving 100% commitment to my apprenticeship. While these are not the only factors, these have been a major part of my decision. To those who have helped me throughout the season. Thank you so much you have made a young fellas dream come true. To those who have abused me throughout this season, thank you for pushing me to try be the best racer I can.
While this is not the end to my speedway career, I don’t see myself being on track next season while I take a season off to get some funds together. Then I will assess options going from there.

A reminder, there is absolutely NO room for bullying of any sort in the sport. Some of the crap I have witnessed and received throughout the season should have no place in the sport. And a reminder to all you out there where the bullying is too much, it’s not weak to speak, offload it to someone, there are people here to listen. Don’t let another persons words define your life ❤️

Please note, the lotto drop is still going, I could certainly do with the support for taipa and would hate to not sell them all.
If I haven’t sold them after taipa, please get in touch about refunds and I’ll gladly reimburse you.

Unfortunately due to driver availability we are now unable to do waharoa teams, was very much looking forward to it but it is what it is!

Our next meeting! Really looking forward to this one will be a great way to wrap the season up at waharoa teams on the third of May! Introducing the Rookie Reckerz Stockcar team for 2026!
Looking forward to going out there with a bunch of good mates and learning as much as possible!

Went into this meeting with the goal of finishing all three races. While I didn’t quite meet that goal, I participated in all 3, finished 2 and had an absolute blast!
Race one, had a shocker of a start, missing second off the line however held position for about 2 laps, then I got a shunt from behind and my steering wheel came clean off sending me into the wall and bending the right side of my front end. Once back in the pits we got the car as fixed as we could, huge thanks to Jason smith and Norman Andersen for their support, I wouldn’t have been back out if not for them.
Going into race two we started off the back and finished up 7th with a pretty much clean race from start to finish, hit a rut in the last lap which destroyed my right rear but I continued to the checkered. Going into heat 3 the plan was to play it safe considering the earlier damage to the car. The car in front of me held the brakes off the start, and we had a good bit of biff for the first lap which she ultimately did a great job and came out on top! A whole heap of learning to take away from that one for sure. Ended up finishing in 8th. Thanks to all who gave me some pointers after that one was much appreciated and I’m always keen to see how I can improve as I know for sure I should’ve done better in that one! But overall an awesome meeting am really happy with how it went and had an absolute blast!

It is also with great sadness that the speedway community lost a fellow racer doing what he loved at beachlands speedway. Condolences to his family and close friends it is awful to hear of any sort of loss in the community. RIP

Was a real fun night last night! Few ups and downs
First race dnf after about 3 laps my steering wheel decided to come off which sent me into the wall bending my chassis rails, so a repair in the pits and we were back out
Race 2 rutty as heck, went 14th-7th blew a RR last lap but still went to finish the race
Race 3 had some good biff with another car at the start! Was real good fun and they did a bloody awesome job!
