🚨 MEMBER OF THE MONTH! - Matt Broodryk 🚨
We would like to highlight Matt on his constant dedication and persistence when it comes to his training! Matt is one of our 5amers and has been here since we opened! His consistency is inspiring, no matter what is going on Matt proves to show up 4-6 days a week! He has not only built incredible strength, but an inspiring mindset! 🔥💪
“For me, this is my sport. Progress only comes from consistency, and it definitely won’t come with an apathetic attitude.”
We asked Matt some questions and here is what he had to say:
If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting their fitness journey, what would it be?
💬Keep showing up, be realistic about how fast progress can be seen, and give it your all - it should be really, really difficult.
What motivates you to keep showing up even on hard days?
💬Skipping one day may turn in to two, which turns in to losing a passion for it.
What does being a part of the Flex Howick community mean to you?
💬Without it, I don’t think I’d have survived through some of the hardest times in life.
What’s your favourite way to recover after a big workout?
💬Eat enough, stretch a lot, and if there’s an injury from a big workout, try to be realistic about getting the right care.
