❤️🖤 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! 🖤❤️

A big Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures and all the special people filling that role in the lives of our gymnasts.

And a special shout-out to our gym dads, the taxi drivers, bag carriers, competition supporters, volunteer helpers, sideline cheerleaders and the ones who somehow end up carrying everything while their gymnast walks in carrying absolutely nothing. 😂🤸‍♀️

Thank you for showing up, cheering them on, celebrating the wins and encouraging them through the tricky bits.

We hope all our gym dads, and dads everywhere get thoroughly spoilt today. ❤️

IT’S COOKIE DAY!! 🎉

Our Cookies, Croissants & Cups order will be arriving at the club at around 12pm today, and will be ready for collection shortly after.

❄️ Remember the cookies and croissants are FROZEN, so please come and collect your order as soon as you can once they’re ready!

We’ve made a small adjustment to our competition timetable please take note of the updated Saturday session times below.

SATURDAY 12 SEPTEMBER
🚪 Doors open 8:00am
🤸🏼 8:30am - Gym Fun, Ruby & Diamond
🤸🏼 9:30am - Bronze
🤸🏼 11:30am - Grade 1

SUNDAY 13 SEPTEMBER
🚪 Doors open 8:00am
🤸🏼 8:30am - Grade 2
🤸🏼 10:30am - Iron
🤸🏼 12:30pm - Silver & Gold

⏰ Please note: Session times may be brought forward by up to 30 minutes, so please plan your arrival accordingly. The first session each day will start at the advertised time.

☕ Coffee and food available onsite from 8:00am

There’s a pink container at the gym ready for your Chocolate Wheel donations!

We’d love one chocolate item per family ❤️🖤

It could be something fancy, a chocolate syrup, a multipack, your favourite block, a box or bag of treats anything goes!

All of the goodies will be bundled up into prizes for our Chocolate Wheel at the competition. 🤸🏼🍫

🤸 NEW TO GYMNASTICS COMPETITIONS?

With lots of new families joining us, we know that for some of you our upcoming Hokitika competition will be your very first gymnastics competition and you might have absolutely no idea what to expect!

So, we've answered some of the questions we hear most often. ❤️

Swipe through our Competition FAQ for everything from how the weekend works and what your gymnast should wear, to what happens if they completely forget what they're supposed to be doing! 😅

Our biggest message? Don't stress.

Competition is about giving our gymnasts the chance to show off what they've been learning, support their teammates and have a go. They don't need to be perfect, and they won't be navigating any of it alone.

📅 What time will my gymnast compete?
Once entries have closed and we've collated entries across all participating clubs, we'll put together the competition timetable and let everyone know their allocated session.

And if there's something we haven't answered, ask us in the comments! Chances are another first-time competition parent is wondering the exact same thing. 🤸❤️

🤸 The school holidays are coming fast… but we’re faster! 🤸

Our September/October School Holiday Sessions are locked in, with something for new kids wanting to give gymnastics a go AND our currently enrolled gymnasts wanting some extra gym time!

🌟 OPEN SESSIONS – EVERYONE WELCOME!

Not currently enrolled at HGC? No problem! Come along, explore the gym, have a go and burn off some school holiday energy. No gymnastics experience needed.
