🏉 ST MARY'S TRIBUTE AUCTION – THANK YOU 🏉

On behalf of the Wests Senior Team and the club, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported the St Mary's Tribute Auction.
It was a fantastic evening and a privilege to see so many former St Mary's players, supporters, families, and friends come together to celebrate and remember the proud history of the club. Listening to the stories, memories, and friendships that were shared throughout the night was truly special and highlighted just how much St Mary's Rugby has meant to so many people over the years.
We are incredibly grateful for the support shown throughout the day and evening. Thanks to your generosity, the auction raised over $17,000, an outstanding result that exceeded all expectations.
A special thank you goes to Lizzie's Laundries for their fantastic support in getting all of the jerseys washed, dried, and presented beautifully after the game and ready for the auction.
We would also like to acknowledge Moments in Time Hokitika for the amazing work that went into the framed jerseys. The quality of the framing and presentation of the team photos alongside the jerseys created wonderful keepsakes that will be treasured for years to come.
A huge thank you goes to Property Brokers Hokitika, especially Jo and Vicki, for the incredible work they did behind the scenes on the night. Their assistance with recording purchases, tracking jersey numbers, managing bidder information, and keeping accurate records of all auction sales was invaluable. Their advice and guidance helped ensure the auction ran smoothly and professionally from start to finish.

This season, the senior team is doing something a little different and honoring one of WESTS founding clubs by kitting up in a ST. MARYS replica jersey for one game only on June 13.
Following the game and after-match festivities, the one-off jerseys will be auctioned off in the clubrooms. So pop on down if you’d like to get your hands on one of these and hear a few war stories from the ‘good ol days’
