Had a great day at Stratford Novice tournament today, came away with a few trophies and some lessons learnt.

Osu fanau we will be starting classes on the 27th of jan, all yellow belts from the juniors class will now have to move to the senior class, no exceptions. Class will start from 5 pm, can the seniors start arriving at 5:45, ready for 6 pm start 7pm finish. No gi required for the 1st weeks. Look forward to seeing you all.

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break making memories with your families. As we step into 2026, many of us are looking forward, setting new goals, and deciding what our "next step" looks like.

I know firsthand that training in Martial Arts as a mom isn’t always easy. Life is busy and time is a luxury, but I’ve learned that with a little discipline and commitment, it truly can be done. Kyokushin has benefited me in so many ways, making me physically stronger than I have ever been, bringing lifelong friends into my life.

My goal for 2026 is to continue this journey and hopefully inspire other moms and women here in our community to start or continue theirs. Whether you want to gain confidence, get fit, or find a community that feels like family, there is a place for you on our mats. To all my karate ladies out there: Let’s rock 2026 with Kyokushin Karate!

And that's a wrap for the year, thank you all for another year of putting in good mahi!
Keep up the good habits eat well drink plenty of water have z very merry Christmas awesome new year set goals and make them happen.
Don't wait for the dojo be the dojo, train as much as you can Osu.
