The wrap up from Trackside NZ of yesterday’s Weir Tours Egmont Cup….

While those of us who were on the track have finally dried out and thawed out we have to celebrate what an fab day of racing it was! Even in the less than spring type weather the crowds indoors packed the place and enjoyed the ERC incredible hospitality!

Huge thanks to the local sponsors for supporting the day and a huge thanks to all the locals who braved the unseasonable weather to support an exciting days racing!

Save the date for the next hit out at Hawera Racecourse on Wednesday 4th November!

Won't just be the ice cream treats for the kids available tomorrow for our Egmont Cup race meet. The Morning Ritual will also be on course - and from what we hear some of the best coffee Taranaki has on offer!

Getting the job done from the ground up is what Dennis Wheeler Earthmoving are all about — and we’re pleased to have them supporting the Egmont Racing Club as sponsors of Race 8! 🏇

With experience in earthmoving and groundwork across Taranaki, Dennis Wheeler Earthworks are another great local business supporting our community and local racing.

We really appreciate their support and the role local businesses play in helping us put on great days at the track.

Make sure you get along, enjoy the racing and support those who support our club!

It’s a big day on the calendar for the Egmont Racing Club, and we’re incredibly grateful to have Weir Tours playing such a major part in making it happen!

Weir Tours are major sponsors of our Egmont Cup Race Day, providing the free bus service from New Plymouth and proudly sponsoring the Weir Tours Egmont Cup running as Race 6 of the race card.

Their support helps make it easier for racing fans to get to Hawera, enjoy the day and get home safely, while adding plenty to what is shaping up to be a fantastic day of racing.

From transport to race sponsorship, Weir Tours are getting right behind the Egmont Racing Club and we really appreciate their support.

Free bus from New Plymouth. Great racing at Hawera.
