⛳️ HOLE-IN-ONE ALERT! ⛳️

Congratulations to Jake C***s on an incredible hole-in-one on the 9th green at Lake Hāwea Golf Club! 🏌️‍♂️

The ace came on Jake da Muss' 18th hole during a gruelling 36-hole Senior Final against Tony Ascott, with Jacke going on to take the win in impressive fashion.

This makes history as:
- The first hole-in-one ever recorded on the 9th during a club day
- Only the second ace ever on the 9th green at Lake Hāwea Golf Course

The first was achieved by Adam Fairmaid during a casual round two years ago.

A fantastic achievement and a moment that won’t soon be forgotten. Well played Jacke! 👏🍻

A huge congrats to our ladies who played Cromwell Golf Club in our Pennants match yesterday at Wanaka Golf Club, with a 5/1 win. This achievement now ties us with leaderboard head Tarras Golf Club which will now require a play-off.

A massive thanks to Wanaka Golf Club for hosting and for putting on such a delicious and copious meal, and to all participating ladies. A really fun day was had!

Lake Hawea Golf - Club Day 29 March - 8am Tee-off

The Lake Hawea Golf Club is hosting the Ladies Interclub this coming Sunday, which will be a field of circa 64 players.

To avoid congestion on the course, Club Day will exceptionally tee-off at 8:00am (cards in by 7.30am).

Ladies Pennants Lake Hawea Golf vs Tarras - Sunday 15 March 2026

It was so pleasing to see Tarras playing Pennants after a 6-year dry spell and what cracker matches were played. The sunshine turned it on for the day and the result was a 6-6 draw! Much fun was had on and off the course, with many friendships rekindled. Well done ladies!

Summer is shaping up to be a busy one on the course! We kindly ask members to play before 8.30am or after 4.30pm where possible.

Just a reminder that members don’t have right of way over green fee players during this time.
