Enter at this link for Bay Ford Hastings CXHB 2026 Race #3 at Paritua Wines by 6pm this Saturday...it's the beautiful, the fast and the flat this coming Sunday.
We have another stunning course, winding it's way amongst the grape vines, and there is a very good chance you might get your feet wet when you cross the Paritua Wines Stream.

Just like every week, there will be bikes, baking is available, and of course thanks to Bay Espresso Organic Coffee Roastery we also have free coffee and hot chocolate to drink.

Sign in from 9am, the Balance Bikes Ride starts the day at 9:50am, and racing starts at 10am. see you there!!!

The start of today's 7 Under race at our first Bay Ford Hastings 2026 race. Thankyou SuperVision Sports for the excellent view of the course!

Brilliant venue... thanks to Ivar for developing it and to Napier City Council - Te Kaunihera o Ahuriri , Hawke's Bay Regional Council and the whānau of Waiohiki for the use of the venue. Outstanding 🍂

Wow!!! What a brilliant first race of our Bay Ford Hastings CX2026 Series.

HUGE thanks to Stephen Salked at Bay Ford for his years of support to the club - it was great to see you back riding with us 🚲 🥰

83 of you turned up (not including our Balance Bikers) and the morning was just brilliant. Thankyou to all riders and your whānau and supporters who came along and helped make the day successful.

Thankyou to Bay Espresso Organic Coffee Roastery for the delicious coffee, to Ramblers Cycling Club for the use of the loos, to SuperVision Sports for the timing and results - and also still-to-post photos and drone footage, to Pedal Power Taradale and Pedal Power Hastings for the prizes. We must mention Ivar who has spent so much time organising and prepping this brand new course for us. 😍

It starts... first official race day of Bay Ford Hastings CX 2026.
We're looking forward to seeing all 92 of our registered riders from 9am when you can collect your race numbers.
If you are here earlier, you are welcome to help us with the course set-up.

We start riding at 10 minutes to 10 with our youngest on their balance bikes... and racing starts after that... CX5, CX10, CX20, CX30 and CX45.

Remember that we try to minimise waste and costs, so our race numbers, and other equipment are reused each year... also, at the end of your event, you can leave unwanted cable ties, tape etc at the rego desk. We'll sort it.

We're starting to get ready for Sunday... are you?
A couple of us spent a few hours today assigning bibs, chipIDs... tearing masking tape, writing names, entering numbers against the online entries and twisting twistie-ties.
The timing crew will be there just after 7 on Sunday to set up.
Ivar has been prepping the venue over a few weeks, but we'd love any helpers who can help set the race course from 8am.
Rego is at 9, and if you haven't entered yet (for the day or the series)... you can still enter up until Saturday 6pm.

Bay Ford Hastings Cyclocross HB 2026

Along the banks of the beautiful Tutaekuri River this new course for 2026 runs alongside the pathway and Springfield road.

​To find the course, head onto Springfield Road from the EIT end, and the gate is located about 450m past the turnoff on your left. There is limited parking on site and absolutely NO parking on the road please.

Alternatively, you can park in Taradale and make your along the pathway. About 50m past the bridge you will have access to the venue on your right.

Wow! Great turnout this morning for the training session that was held for kids by Ivar from SuperVision Sports after CXHB Race 1 was cancelled earlier in the week. Unfortunately, our usual photographer was called away at the last minute.
