🔵🟡 TOP OF THE TABLE CLASH 🟡🔵

It doesn’t get much bigger than this.

After 10 rounds, our Men’s First Team sit second on the ladder with an outstanding record of 7 wins, 2 draws, and just 1 loss, setting up a blockbuster clash against league leaders Gisborne United this Saturday.

United currently lead the competition on 26 points, with the Wanderers close behind on 23 points, making this a genuine six-pointer in the race for the title.

Last weekend’s result against Gisborne Thistle may have ended our unbeaten start to the season, but the response now is what matters. The group has shown resilience, quality, and character throughout the campaign, and they’ll be determined to bounce back when it matters most.

💙 Thirsty Thursday with a special farewell... 💙

Tonight will be Paige's last shift behind the bar, and we'd love for our Havelock North Wanderers whānau to help us send her off in style.

If you're around after training, pop into the clubrooms from 7pm, grab a drink, share a laugh, and say goodbye to Paige. 🍻

Thank you, Paige, for everything you've done for our club. Your hard work, friendly smile, and dedication behind the bar have been hugely appreciated, and you'll be missed by many.

🔵🟡 WEEKEND FIXTURES | AWAY DAY WEEKEND 🟡🔵

This weekend sees a rare break from senior football at Guthrie Park, with all of our senior sides either on the road or enjoying a bye.

After a busy first half of the season, the weekend provides some much-needed recovery time for our pitches while our teams continue to fly the Wanderers flag across Hawke’s Bay and beyond.

The headline fixture is undoubtedly our Men’s First Team’s trip to Gisborne for a huge top-of-the-table clash against Gisborne United. With first and second separated by just three points, it’s set to be one of the biggest matches of the season so far.

Our Women’s teams are also on the road looking to continue their strong campaigns, while several of our men’s teams face important fixtures as league competitions begin to enter the business end of the season.

🏠 While there are no senior home games this weekend, Guthrie Park won’t be completely quiet.

⚽ On Sunday, our U14 CDL Boys welcome Palmerston North United for a 1:00pm kick-off. We’d love to see plenty of Wanderers supporters down at the club supporting the boys as they continue their Central Development League campaign.

📺 Don’t forget the clubrooms will be open on Saturday afternoon from 2pm, with a live screening of our Men’s First Team’s top-of-the-table clash against Gisborne United.
