It was a lovely day in Hastings for our off-road club day. A large field of four-wheel-drive buggies today follow closely buy some excited juniors and their support crew. Love to see their enthusiasm both on the drivers stand and marshaling. Thanks to everyone who made the day possible by attending the working be on Sunday. Without the support of the club members these events simply would not happen.

A huge milestone at 107 on the weekend. The posts are in and the trenches are finished and waiting for the cable to be laid this week. Thanks again to all the volunteers for coming and helping with this very laborious process. Lots to come before the container arrives. See you all at the next working bee

We've got off-road rc racing coming up this Sunday the 14th. Get your entries in (follow link in bottom of post).

On Saturday, we will hold two working bees. First one at 107 Gilbertson from 8 AM to sort out concrete piles for drivers stand.

Then a standard 2 PM showgrounds cleanup to get ready for the racing on Sunday.

You don't have to go to both working bees. Any help anywhere is appreciated. Thank you!

Big progress at the new Off Road sight today. Thanks to Kevin, Sonny and Michael for lending a hand. James was there early clearing the trench doing lawns and edges and general up keep. Thank you James for keeping this project going and on track. A huge thanks to Duane for making and fitting the pedestrian gates that now adorn the facility just waiting for a fresh coat of paint. Keep a lookout for the next project list coming soon.

Tommorrow morning we will hold a short working bee at the Gilbertson Road track.

9.00 AM start! Bring a shovel and anything else that might come in handy.
