Come and see Hawke’s Bay from a whole new perspective! ✈️

Hawkes Bay Microlight Club is a not-for-profit flying club based at Hawkes Bay & East Coast Aero Club at Bridge Pa, Hastings.

Microlighting is an affordable, exciting and incredibly rewarding way to get into the air. It offers the thrill of flying without the expense of traditional General Aviation, making it an accessible hobby for people who have always dreamed of taking to the skies.

And the views? They’re pretty special! Imagine flying over the beautiful Hawke’s Bay coastline, looking across the hills and ranges, and seeing our famous vineyards and countryside from above.

For many people, microlighting is also an excellent pathway towards obtaining a pilot licence. You can start with a few trial lessons, experience the thrill for yourself and discover whether flying is something you’d like to pursue further.

Our club is about much more than simply getting airborne. Members enjoy flying, learning, sharing knowledge and experiences, exploring new places, organised trips, events and plenty of social activities along the way.

Whether you’re an experienced pilot, someone thinking about learning to fly, or simply curious about what microlighting is all about, we’d love to hear from you.
