First big beach trip for Artax GNZ today and he exceeded all expectations! Even walked along by himself for a while when kaos galloped off out of sight (artax was a bit too tired 😂). Never met a horse who loves adventures as much as him 🤍

Miss Milly having a play around cross country today! Absolutely love this mare. She was my first schooler I took on after moving back to Auckland! It wasn’t long ago that she was learning to jump after focusing on dressage for most of her life. Not often they feel this special over a fence 🤩

Stole Kaos for a jump today!

Didn’t realise how much I missed riding until I hopped on today, makes me want a horse again sooo much! I’ll just have to be patient for the right one to come along 🥹

A little update from me. I’m taking a bit of a break from full time riding while I study to become a frontline ambulance officer! I started this week and I am loving every minute so far.

For my incredible lesson kids and schoolers I have spoken to most of you but reminding you that when I am available I will be doing lessons as often as possible!

As I’m sure most will understand, working with horses full time is the best job EVER, but also unpredictable and physically demanding. Due to many serious injuries in the past few years, I thought it was a great time to give my body a rest and get some official qualifications under my belt. With that being said, becoming part of the ambulance service has always been a dream of mine and I was presented with an amazing opportunity to join St John. There’s no doubt I will continue riding as often as possible and will look at getting a new horse once I have finished with my studies.

Exciting times ahead 😊
