Lakeview had the pleasure of hosting a large group of keen players from Omanu Golf Club today as a result of their coring. 😀

Our amazing greenkeepers are working hard this week carrying out essential coring work on the course. Coring helps relieve compaction, improve drainage and air movement, and promote healthier turf - all helping us maintain quality playing surfaces and keeping our greens performing at their best for our members.

A big shout out to the PI's golf group for all their hard mahi alongside Kelvin at the working bee last Sunday.
The weather was pretty average but they got stuck in and cleared up the large tree taken out to make way for the development of the tee block on #11.

We had a fantastic day yesterday planting 867 native plants with tamariki from Rotokawa School and Dawn and James from Trees For Survival!

So cool to have these kaitiaki be part of the history of Lakeview and help us enhance our community green space for all to enjoy.

The students got to give golf a go after their hard mahi and Avneel our awesome chef provided a wholesome lunch for everyone to enjoy.
