Congratulations to our Elementary Rhythmic Gymnasts who competed at Counties Competition over the weekend. It was such a fun event, with the girls even getting to take part in a fun dance and watch Havana perform 🤩

Thank you to our amazing Coach Martine who was there all day with the girls and to Counties for hosting! 🙌🏼

Our level 1 and 2s made some amazing improvements to their Ex*****on and Difficulty scores/ribbon colours and our level 3 & 4 had some wonderful personal bests and placings ✨

A special milestone for our Tumbling programme — this is our first year offering competitive tumbling, and two of our tumbling athletes have qualified for Nationals! 🤸‍♀️

We’re also thrilled to have three T&GC coaches selected to coach at Nationals — Abbey Day (Tumbling), Martine Erasmus (Rhythmic) and Nicole Schuster (WAG).

A huge congratulations to all of our qualifiers! We can’t wait to see you represent Waikato on the national stage. 🏆🇳🇿

Proud is honestly an understatement! 🥹❤️

We are so proud of every single girl and the effort, commitment and progress they have shown throughout the year. Watching them grow and develop has been pretty special!

A huge shoutout to our coaching and judging teams — you guys are the best! 🙌🏼 We had judges representing T&GC all weekend, and we are so grateful. Our coaches have done an incredible job preparing these girls all season, and their knowledge, attention to detail and commitment to helping each gymnast reach their potential has absolutely paid off! 👀✨

A massive thank you to Hamilton City Gymnastics for hosting such a smoothly run competition. 👏🏼

And of course, thank you to our amazing parents for your endless support. We had a BIG crowd of supporters behind the girls, and they were absolutely pumped! We loved seeing our big girls there cheering everyone on too — that team spirit is what it’s all about! ❤️💙🤍

💙❤️🤍 Auckland Championships | 15–16 August

What a way to finish the Junior & Senior competition season! Our gymnasts competed at Auckland Champs last weekend at Counties, wrapping up the season with some great routines.

We’ve seen so much progress across the season, with the girls building confidence and consistency in their routines, while many also added new skills along the way.

A huge thank you to Counties for hosting a great competition 👏 and to our coaching team, judges and supporters who have been there throughout the season 🙏. We appreciate you. ❤️

On Sunday we held our annual Spiralz @ T&GC Elementary Rhythmic Gymnastics competition! What an amazing day! Thank you to Howick Rhythmics, Future Gymnastics, North Harbour Xtreme and Counties Manukau for joining us 💛

A massive thank you to all of our incredible staff, coaches and volunteers who made this event possible. There is a huge amount of work that goes into holding an endorsed event of this size and we couldn’t do it without you!

Thank you to Pukete Neighbourhood House for allowing us to use the lounge space for prize giving and also the use of your eftpos machine, chairs and tressle tables. You are amazing and we appreciate the amazing relationship our two organisations have built over the years 🙌🏼

A massive congratulations to our level 1-4 gymnasts who shone out on the competition floor! For many of you this was your first time competing which is a massive accomplishment. We saw some wonderful performances, progression and results. We are so proud of all of you all! Bring on the next event 🤩

A Moment Worth Celebrating 🤸‍♀️

At a recent competition, we captured one of our tumblers doing her round off back handspring on her own for the first time! 🤸‍♀️

And the best part? She was so excited that she celebrated halfway through her tumble! 😂🙌

Her teammates, coaches and supporters in the crowd all celebrated right along with her. ❤️💙🤍

A genuine moment of excitement, achievement and pride — and one we’ll definitely remember! Well done Addison 🤩

✨ The Fun Behind the Hard Work! ❤️

Our Steps girls have been working incredibly hard as they head towards the end of their competition season, refining routines, chasing those little improvements and putting in the work week after week.

So, we decided they’d earned some time to put the routines aside and just have fun! 🥳

Our Commonwealth Games Fun Day was a hit! Full of laughs, teamwork and good vibes, with some friendly competition thrown in as we put our own creative interpretation on a few of the Commonwealth Games sports.

Our favourite part was seeing the girls cheer each other on, encourage their teammates and get completely caught up in the fun. The coaches had just as much fun, and honestly, it was just what we all needed! ❤️

We love seeing our girls develop new skills, learn routines and challenge themselves, but gymnastics is also about the friendships, the fun and the moments we share along the way.
