Huge congratulations to our Waikato representative lacrosse players for a dominant podium sweep at the U15 Nationals at Hillcrest, and to those preparing for upcoming national and trans-Tasman fixtures!

U15 National Championships (Held at Hillcrest over the weekend)
🏆 1st Place – Team Mana (Black shirts): Sadie (Year 10)
🥈 2nd Place – Team Kaahu (White Shirts): Grace (Year 9), Macie (Year 9)
🥉 3rd Place – Team Hiwa (Yellow Shirts): Vitalia (Year 9)

Team Mana and Team Kaahu are now preparing to head off to the Sunshine Coast to play in the Australian U15 Nationals in the upcoming term break.

Team Kōkiri (U18B Girls): Dylan (Year 11)

Massive good luck to Dylan as she steps out for Team Kōkiri next weekend, and to Sadie, Grace, and Macie as they gear up for Australia in October!

🏈 Huge Congratulations to Our Rugby Rep Stars! 🏈

We are absolutely bursting with pride for three of our talented rugby players! Following a fantastic and highly competitive school season with the St Paul’s/Dio combined team, three of our girls have achieved representative honours!

Before we get to the rep news, a massive round of applause for their outstanding contributions this season:
Zara (Y11) & Maddi (Y11): Awarded joint MVP for the season! 🏆
Myla (Y10): Scored the most tries! 🏉

Congratulations to:
🏉Zara (Y11) & Myla (Y10): Both selected for the 2026 Waikato Rugby U16 Girls squad!
🏉Maddi (Y11): Selected for the Waikato Rugby U18 Girls squad!

The U16 squad, including Zara and Myla, has had an exciting start. They played their very first game over the weekend at the iconic FMG Stadium! (See photos) They are heading to Whakatane this weekend for another clash, with another three games to look forward to in their season.

Meanwhile, Maddi and the U18 squad are deep into their campaign, with only two games left to play.

Let's all get behind Zara, Myla, and Maddi as they wear the red, yellow, and black! We are so proud to watch you represent our community.
