Waikato Treasure Chests Dragon Boat Team (WTC) are a women’s dragon boat team who are committed to providing a quality sports and recreation experience for all women of abilities and capabilities. We create opportunities for all women who have goals of wellness and belonging through offering a warm and welcoming space for women to connect. Our team competes under two categories:
· Breast
cancer survivors
· Open women
Breast cancer awareness is driven by our paddlers with the disease who have chosen to regain control of their lives. It reaches out to other women with a message of hope as they build a life after breast cancer.
