• The tournament season will run from September to March.
• Matches will be on Sundays, dates to be decided.
• Format will be 6 aside across several different grades.

Do you know why yellow is the best ball colour for indoor cricket?

Many different colour balls are used in cricket, but it's not just for fun, each colour has its own reason to be used.
Red balls are very visible against the sky and players' whites in typical day tests; white balls, however, are better for limited-overs cricket where a portion of the game is often played under floodlights.

Back in 2015, the Frankston Bombers put their own twist on the Harrison Hoist by standing on the back of a kneeling teammate to gain more height on defence.
While several people at the time thought this move was illegal or at least unsportsmanlike, the umpires all confirmed that no rules were actually broken.

While indoor football was only semi-officialised in the 1920s with tournament leagues being held in Boston and New York, indoor soccer has been played since well before that, with the earliest recorded game result dating all the way back to 1885!
Since it was originally created as a way to escape the frozen outdoors, variations of the indoor game have been played for almost as long as football itself has existed.

Our courts are fully weather protected and ready for indoor football, cricket, netball, and dodgeball. Plus, we've got you sorted with all the gear, lots of seating, a bar and snacks, and we can even provide umpires if you need them.
