Looking for something fun, active and exciting for the school holidays? 👀

Our Playball Holiday Camp is back! 🏀⚽️🎾

We’ve packed the day with sports, games, challenges, creativity and plenty of laughs; giving our Hamilton tamariki the chance to try new things, build confidence and make some awesome holiday memories. 💪✨

⚽️ Can you balance on one foot… with your foot on a football? Sounds simple, right? Think again! 😆

In Playball, this little challenge is doing BIG things! 💪

✨ Balance – learning to control and stabilise the body

🦵 Core & leg strength – building the muscles needed for running, jumping and kicking

👀 Focus & concentration – keeping those eyes and brain switched on

⚡ Body awareness – understanding where their body is and how it moves

💪 Confidence – practising, wobbling, trying again and celebrating progress!

At Playball, we turn skills into games, and games into important building blocks for life 🧠🏃‍♂️💙

Sometimes, it all starts with one foot, one ball and a little bit of wobbling! 😂⚽️

💥 BOOM Ready Position! 💥

At Playball, you'll often hear us shout "BOOM!" and every child knows exactly what to do!

The BOOM Ready Position is our Playball stance that gets us ready for anything. We stand with:

👣 Feet shoulder-width apart.
🦵 Knees bent slightly ready to spring into action
🤲 Hands out and balanced.
👀 Eyes focused on the ball or the target (depending on the skill).

It's like pressing the "GO!" button on our bodies!

From the BOOM Ready Position, children can run, catch, throw, kick, jump or change direction in a flash. Being balanced and "ready to react" helps children move more quickly and confidently!
