The Melville Cricket Club was established back in 1977 and plays in the Hamilton Cricket Association Competition in Hamilton City.
Melville are the only Cricket Club based on the west side of the Waikato River, however we attract players from all over Hamilton as well as newcomers to Hamilton City.
The Melville Cricket Club is a community-driven amateur sports club based in Deanwell with a Premi
er Team and Premier Reserve Team.
The Melville Cricket Club also boasts a growing Junior Cricket Club, aided by our Club Sponsors and wonderfully run by our Committee and Parents.
The Melville Cricket Club Premier Team this 2024/25 Season were Finalists in the Hamilton Cricket Association T20 Competition and 2-Day Competition, going down in the 3-Day Howden Cup Final on Seddon Park.
The Melville Cricket Club have a strong Committee engaged to help with the running of the club, while also having Uniform Sponsors of Spark and Dulux.
Senior Practices are held on Tuesday night from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, at St Pauls Collegiates Nets, while Junior Practices are held at Mangakōtukutuku College on Wednesdays.
