OUR PURPOSE. LAN Club’s purpose is to combat issues young people are dealing with such as; bullying, isolation, mental health and the effects of socio-economic disadvantage through providing a programme that combines digital education and physical activity.

We'd love your help. We think a Starlink might help us get esports and gaming out to more people in further to reach places, but we'd like to try it out first.

What a WEEK!!!

Shout out FROM the Jain Tech Gaming team to the following schools for hosting us. Aorere College Manurewa Intermediate Mangere College and Te Kopuku High

Our team has been involved in:
🕹A stand at a Digital Tech Expo at Aorere College;
🏆A Rocket League tournament with over 20 teams from schools in South Auckland - including casting/stream - at Manurewa Intermediate;
👩‍🏫 A 4 day in-school programme including coaching, life skills and coaching at Mangere College;
🏅And finishing today with a Rocket League Tournament for Te Kopuku High.

It has been insane, so many amazing people to work with, so many enthusiastic and skills students.

And a shout out TO the team at Jain Tech Gaming. Massive effort. Late nights. Plot Twists. All those things.

Whanau, we're booked to start a new programme with a Hamilton school with their year 7 and 8s in a couple weeks. Its a Rocket League based programme, and so were trying to get a bunch of PS4 controllers.

If any of you have an unused (I mean it, don't rip the kids off) Genuine PS4 controller that is working, I would be happy to connect and buy them off you.

We did a thing!!!

Proud to be present and supporting Papakura High School for their first ever Esports Tournament.

Congrats to from Rosehill for taking the day, and special shout out to who only started playing Rocket League today! And also our youngest competitors! All our teams were amazing and we hope that you all had an amazing day.

Shout out to Satchet and the team from Papakura High, to and for the casting, Microsoft, Auckland City Council, Minstry of Ed, Fusion and literally a small army of helpers, supporters and whanau who made today a success.

We were able support by bringing over 10 Gaming laptops and a PC for playing, casting and showing the twitch stream locally.
