I have been involved in some pretty cool events over the past month.

Last man standing: Getting to watch some of New Zealand’s strongest athletes battle it out over an hour format.

Battle of the Beasts: Incredible night seeing Arm Wrestling mixed in with boxing!

EXPO 2026: Something that has been in the works for the past few months about to come to life next weekend. A mixture of workshops, SuperMatches, Q and A panel and pulls.

Tomorrow I turn 30.

I came into my 20s not knowing what the heck I was up to. I definitely did not see myself going back to sports let alone strength sports.

As I am about to leave my 20s I can look back and be proud of every achievement and opportunity that I have been blessed with.

This is my story of my 20s. I am incredibly excited to see what the 30s are like ❤️

Here in New Zealand they have just updated our ranking system. They have just created a New Zealand #1 Ranked Arm Wrestler for all weight divisions male and female.

I am honoured to be both the left and right top ranked woman and proud to be alongside my coach Maateiwarangi Heta-morris who is #1 ranked left and right arm in New Zealand for men.

This journey in Arm Wrestling so far has been absolutely insane.

Getting to travel the world.
Meeting new people who turn into friends.
Seeing new people try Arm Wrestling.
Getting to travel the world with my best mates.

Out of all sports this one has been the most rewarding and fun. I am excited for the future 💪

Prep for a half marathon has been new territory I am not use to.

When I first started running in September last year I could barely run 500m without wanting to stop.

9 months on and I am walking/running 6km a day and pushing out a 10km run once a week.

I can’t get a gauge on my strength because I am only lifting max 8kg on my right due to rehabilitation. But my left side is feeling very strong.

Strava is my fave.
Three dress sizes down.

x5 New Zealand women’s Arm Wrestling left and right arm champion 🏅

When I first started we only had two females in New Zealand competing. Yesterday not only did we have TWO different weight divisions but we also had 14 in my weight category!

It has been beautiful to see the women’s division grow every single year. I am so excited to be running a women’s Arm Wrestling training session in August where people around coming from all around New Zealand and even flying over from Australia 💪
