Thank you to everyone who came along today. What a great turnout for a first event.
Huge thanks to the volunteers that make these events possible.

We are lucky to have had amazing weather, we will have some photos to release soon.

Thank you to Coastwide Helicopters , Roa Rescue Helicopter, Ratec, Jody Scott, Westland Car Club, all the food vendors, Buller Rodders, Greymouth Rodders and Greenstone Park, and finally the drivers.

We will be doing this again in the future. So stay tuned.

Drivers please remember to be there between 7am and 8:30am
Helmet, overalls & boots are a must, also bring your drivers license.

The numbers are limited to the first 100 drivers. We cannot change this number.

We are excited for this weekend, the sun will be shining, show cars will be gleaming, and fast cars definitely screaming.
Some yummy treats will be available too.

Head on down to the Greymouth Aerodrome at 9am to kick of your sunny saturday.
$5 entry, (more if you're feeling generous)
It all goes to the Roa Helicopter

Coastwide Helicopters have also come onboard, offering scenic flights for $70. If you've never been in a chopper, this is a great opportunity to check out the coastline and our awesome town from the skies.

Quarter mile timed runs will begin between 930 and 10am.

Coastwide Helicopters will be operating on the day with scenic flights.

From 9am to 4pm

$70 per person flights will be operating from the Greymouth Aerodrome Standing 1/4 Mile this Saturday, 31st January.
The rhythm of motors and rotors turning as one.
Come on down for a great day out, show your support for this local event, and the chosen charity of the West Coast Rescue helicopter.
Under 2 free - must be lap belt seated on a fare-paying adult.
Does not include the entry fee to get into the ¼ mile event.
Weather dependent.
Name and weights will be required before the flight.
