📢 ALL RIPPA RUGBY CANCELED📢

Due to heavy overnight rain decisions have been made to cancel the Rippa games - ALL tackle games are still happening at normal times & places as per Xplorer App.

Put those new jackets on the kids, pack a spare pair of clothes for post game drive home cause she'll be a fun muddy one 🙌 ☔️

Please NO parking on the grass

Team photos still happening at set times - please ensure correct socks and playing jersey is worn, no thermals or long sleeve tops underneath. No boots on for photo please 🙏

Southland Rugby's Rural Roadie has become a popular fixture on the school holiday calendar, helping strengthen the connection between the province's representative team and the grassroots clubs that form the backbone of Southland rugby.

The 2026 Rural Roadie schedule is:

• Drummond Rugby Club – 1.15pm
• Wyndham Rugby Club – 1.30pm
• Riversdale Rugby Club – 1.45pm
• Otautau Rugby Club – 1.45pm

• Mossburn Rugby Club – 2.45pm
• Waiau Star Rugby Club – 3.00pm
• Tokanui Rugby Club – 3.00pm
• Albion Rugby Club – 3.30pm

The Rural Roadie is free to attend, and all local junior players, families and rugby supporters are encouraged to come along, meet the Stags and enjoy an afternoon of rugby fun.

Whether you're dreaming of wearing the maroon jersey one day or simply keen to meet your Southland rugby heroes, the Rural Roadie is a fantastic opportunity to experience the Stags up close while celebrating the communities that make Southland rugby special.

Please arrive promptly for team photo time slot so the morning can run smoothly & kids can make it to their games on time.

No thermals are to be worn during photo - correct playing jersey, black shorts and Albion socks with no boots to be worn.

$25 per photo - please order & pay on Saturday. Cash or eftpos available
