Glenham Trainwreck Trail

After fifteen unforgettable years of mud, mishaps, memories, and more than a few legendary “trainwreck” moments, the organising committee has made the tough decision to cancel next year’s Glenham Trainwreck Trail event.

This wasn’t an easy call. We know how much joy, laughter, and friendly competition this quirky little tradition has brought to runners, walkers, riders, and supporters from near and far. The trail has been a place where strangers became friends, families made traditions, and everyone left with a story worth telling.

While the event won’t be going ahead, the spirit of the Trainwreck lives on — We’re deeply grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey: participants, volunteers, landowners, sponsors, and the wider community.

Thank you for fifteen years of adventure. Even though the trail run is ending, the memories certainly aren’t.

Great to see a local Young Fella win the Bike, Luke Smith, thanks to Crossroad Cycles & the MLT, Luke entered the trainwreck event on a borrowed Bike as his wasn't usable 😀😀😀😀😀

With only a couple of days to go until the next running of the Trainwreck Trail, and the weather forecast looking pretty good — mild temperatures in the mid-teens — we’re all set for a great event!

Just a couple of housekeeping notes before race day:

Plenty of Water and Sunscreen (We will have water station on Course)

Registration on the day opens at 8.30am

Parking: parking is available at the behind hall and in paddock beside School grounds

First Race starts at 10am

With just a week to go until the Train Wreck event, today marks the final opportunity to secure your spot through online entry and be part of an unforgettable experience. Entries close at midnight. We will have registration on the day from 8:30am. Just a heads up: all races start an hour earlier than in previous years.
