Congratulations to our Bailey Cooper on his achievement of being named in the 2026 North Harbour Rugby Union U85s team! 👏🔥

Bailey joined the club three years ago and is one of the OGs of the U85s team, having been with us from the very beginning. To see his rugby journey continue to grow and reach this next level is something Glenfield is incredibly proud of. ❤️

Being one of our Vice Captains this past season, he lead by example both on and off the field and played a huge part in what was an unforgettable season.

Bailey's skill, versatility, determination and that awesome boot have made him such a valuable part of our whānau, and his selection is well-deserved recognition.

There’s plenty of representation in this Sunday’s North Harbour Knights vs Presidents XV fixture.

Alan Linstrom and Brett Ingram will take the field for the North Harbour Knights.

The Presidents XV also features Glenfield connections, with Martin Linstrom, Junior Melesala and Lui Pole named in the squad.

A great opportunity to see some familiar Glenfield faces involved in a special day for North Harbour Rugby.

FINAL MATCH FOR J2 2026 🎉

Finishing a successful season of on and off the field - developing rugby skills and enjoying what team sport is all about.

A wet and colder game than we’ve been used to this season meant more of a ball carrying day for most with Glenfield ahead 19-17 at half time.

A strong finish by a competitive Mahu side with a full bench made Glenfield dig deep producing an even and exciting game but seeing Glenfield come out just on top with a 33-31 final score. 🏆

Great season and well done to all the players, coaches, managers, supporters and special thanks to our ref Alamu for doing all of our home games.

🎉 FINAL GAME: U15 Girls Rippa

What a way to finish the year! 🏉🌧️

Our U15 girls played mahurangi_rfc at home in the rain, digging deep with zero subs by the second half to secure a brilliant 28-6 win.

To top off a massive season, this incredible group finished unbeaten all year!

They are a tight-knit squad who support each other, love the game, and leave everything on the field.

Thank you so much to Coach Leni for your amazing leadership and Carmel for your unwavering work. We couldn't be prouder of this squad—see you next season! 🏉✨

🏉❤️ FINAL GAME 2026 – GLENFIELD J7 ❤️🏉

J7 season is officially done! 🥹🏉

This weekend our Glenfield J7 took on Northcote Maroon at Northcote for our final game of an absolutely amazing and memorable season!

What a way to finish off the season with this awesome group. We have watched this team grow, develop, learn, challenge themselves and, most importantly, have plenty of fun along the way. 🏉🙌

As coaches, we feel incredibly lucky to have been part of this group in 2026 and could not be more proud of every single player. The effort, improvement, teamwork and sportsmanship they have shown throughout the season has been fantastic.

👏 Fantastic support play all game and some awesome running. Marcus was always there to support his teammates and had a brilliant final game!

🏉❤️ FINAL GAME OF THE 2026 SEASON – GLENFIELD J8 ❤️🏉

For our final game of this amazing and very memorable season, Glenfield J8 took on Takapuna Silver at Northcote this morning. Thankfully, the rain managed to hold off! 🙌🌧️

We wanted to make sure every player got a good run and a full game, so four of our Glenfield superstars put their hands up to play for Takapuna, allowing us to get out there and play 8 v 8. What an awesome example of teamwork, sportsmanship and just getting stuck in! ❤️👏

It was also pretty special that our Player of the Day awards went to our Glenfield players who played for the opposition, while our Opposition Player of the Day went to a Glenfield star playing in the Takapuna team! 😂🏉

The girls played a brave mahurangi_rfc team, but the girls finished the season as they started, with another win 🔥

And just like that, our U18 Girls Rippa season comes to an end - and what a season it has been!

TOP OF THE TABLE 🥇

And the most incredible part? This is their first year playing in the U18s grade. To step up into a highly competitive grade and finish the season undefeated is an absolutely outstanding achievement.

But what makes this team special is THE GIRLS

♥️They trust each other.
♥️They work for each other.
♥️They challenge each other.
♥️They celebrate each other.
♥️And they genuinely enjoy playing together.

For our small club that hasn't had a competitive grade achieve something like this in a long time they have created something special.

As coach Damo said, "I couldn't be prouder of these young ladies. Watching them grow, develop, and play for each other has been one of the highlights of my coaching journey."
