Thistle Massive is a football team with clear aspirations beyond the current season. Our goal is to raise the profile of Gisborne teams and players to help drive success and ambition. Through social media and a digital strategy we will promote the team and others in the league. Established within Gisborne Thistle AFC in 2014, and sponsored by Eastland Group. Massive is proud to boast a diverse ran

ge of nationalities, It is testament to the draw of the Gisborne district that so many young people from around the world can be drawn to the city. Our short term goal is purely entertainment focused. Through our strategy we want to create a network of local subscribers interested in football. This may breed greater attendance at matches but is primarily for an online audience. The second goal is supporting the health and wellbeing of the community. Playing sport is a huge part of New Zealand’s identity and we will be presenting an option for all ages and all skill levels throught the Thistle Club.
