🏆 CENTRE MIXED PAIRS WINNERS🏆
Congratulations to Tanya Harrison (skip) and Andrew Ball of Gisborne Bowling Club, our 2026 Centre Mixed Pairs Champions, after a strong 16–8 victory over Kahutia’s Geoff Pinn (skip) and Mary Taingahue in today’s final.
Tanya and Andrew came out firing, racing away to a 13–2 lead after seven ends with some excellent bowls and putting plenty of pressure on their opponents.
Geoff and Mary weren’t going away quietly though, fighting their way back through the middle stages and closing the gap to 14–8 after 13 ends.
But the Gisborne pair held their nerve when it mattered, taking the final two ends to close out the match 16–8 and secure the Centre title. 🏆👏
A fantastic performance from Tanya and Andrew and a well-deserved championship win! Congratulations also to Geoff and Mary on reaching the final after a great weekend of bowls.

Congratulations to Poverty Bay’s Jack Clark and Coral Hodges, winners of the Constellation Round Robin Tournament! 👏
Jack and Coral finished the day with 2 wins and a draw from 3 rounds, great result!
A big thank you to Kahutia Bowling Club for hosting the weekend’s tournaments, providing great running greens and, as always, wonderful hospitality.
