The second way to remove film from a new mask is with toothpaste and a toothbrush. 🤿🪥

Simply scrub your mask, let it sit for 20 minutes then wash it out.

Make sure you use a high fluoride toothpaste and don’t use someone else’s toothbrush. 😂

Our go-to way to remove the factory film on the inside of a brand new mask is to burn it with a lighter. 🤿

Why is Pre-Dive stretching so important? 🙆🏽‍♂️

A proper warm-up and stretching routine is important for both enjoyment and safety during dives.

It will allow you to enter and exit the water with greater ease, prevent cramping, allow you to adjust to the underwater environment more quickly and take your diving depth to another level 🙌🏽

Before you dive, spend 5 to 10 minutes to complete a few rounds of exercises, pay attention to how your body feels, and focus on any areas that seem tight

HOW TO PREVENT YOUR MASK FROM LEAKING 🚫💧

Check out Dion’s top tips:
🤿 Make sure the skirt is not damaged.
🤿 Keep all hair away from the mask (moustaches and eyebrows included).
🤿 Once you’re wearing your mask, make sure nothing is obstructing the skirt.

Are you wearing your mask correctly? 🤔🤿

✔️ DO - Keep your mask as loose as possible on your face, just enough so water isn’t leaking through the seals. This allows for pressurisation while diving.

✖️ DON’T - pull straps super tight. This can cause the seal to fold back which lets water in.
