Due to not enough entries the Geraldine Squash Club open tournament is going to be postponed till later in the year.
Big thank you to the people that did enter and when we know a date for later in the year we will let you know.

Hi guy
Courts open tonight, come down for a hit, we are also changing the lock so get your new key.
Have had a review of subs and after a fair bit of deliberation as a committee we have come up with the figure of $300 for full senior member sub - big thing is that we have dropped the light meters.
I will have a flyer up at the courts detailing the range of subs.
Also please talk to any of the committee members about payment options.

Why has my grade changed? The answer is calibration!

1.4 million results from the last 14 years have been added to SquashLevels to help calibrate the system properly, giving all NZ graded players a new starting level. This was essential to ensure level changes are accurate going forward, as it learns from previous results.

We’ve created new grading bands based on the same distribution of players as under the old system, with the exception of spreading the distribution across Men’s C-E grade more evenly.

Two-thirds of active graded players won’t have had any change in their grade however some players will find they have gone up and some will have gone down. The more matches you play, the more accurate your Level will be!

So time to kick off new year of squash, we settled on some dates at the AGM.

We will start social nights this Thursday from 7, if new members want to come down a wee bit earlier to introduce themselves.

Pennant will start up on Thursdays once start getting few people down.

Key change 1st of March - will have to get subs paid before get key. Sub prices have changed so we will be sending measage out to explain this.

Next meeting will be 11th of March

Tournament is set for the 5&6th of April

Welcome to the new year, of note our AGM is Monday night at 7pm at the courts, will be appointing a new treasurer. Looking to start up Thursday club nights shortly, new season key change start of April

Great to see lots of junior players down at the club for our final night of junior practice for the term!

Watch this space for some form of continued junior coaching for Term 4. Keys are available to purchase for anyone wanting to come down and have hits outside of coaching times too.
