Just over 2 weeks to go to get your registrations in for the Nationals.
There will be no 'On the day' registrations as we will need to do the draws up before the day of the comp so get on the website, buy your ticket and sign up. We value your support and cant run the event without you.
Looking forward to seeing you in Focky Beach ready to compete for the NZ Titles, or just to Freeride and get amongst the action & activities.

We have 2 different registration passes at this years Nationals. One for those who want to compete and be involved in all aspects of the event and another for those wanting to be a part of the atmosphere and parties without taking it too seriously. Take a look and choose the one that best suits you.

Making the news again......... for all the wrong reasons.
Seems a couple of residents are trying to pin the decline of birds in the RAMSAR site here on us kitesurfers.
Taking into account the fact that the estuary is home to the Manawatu Marine Boat club with a myriad of fishermen heading out on noisy boats, throwing wakes of water and leeching oil & petrol into the water. Its also a haven for jetskiers, whose craft do a similar thing. Not to mention thousands of holiday makers trapsing thru the estuary and enjoying themselves in many different ways.
They could also look at the out of control feral cat problem we have here, domestic cats, stoats & weasels and rats, but nope.
Its those darn Kitesurfers.....
If they want a fight, we'll give em a fight....

Wind Warriors - Foxton beach are now the lower Nth Islands ONLY registered Kitesports provider having passed our Safety Audit with Worksafe NZ yesterday.
The team is super proud to be leading the charge here with our expert kite sports tuition. This includes Kite Landboarding & Kite Buggy as well as Kite Surfing.
Make sure when choosing your kite sports provider that they have YOUR safety in mind, and are not just lining their own pockets....
As of Dec 1 it will be an offence to teach kitesports without being registered with Worksafe NZ.
We look forward to continuing our high quality kite sports tuition, rentals & sales and to meeting YOU when its your time to Harness the Power, & Ride the wind!
