Finke 2026 over for the VMC Racing team of Kevin Murphy and Craig McCarthy who unfortunately blew a gearbox around km150.
Massive congrats to our mates Boston MorganHoran and Will Haddoch who managed a second outright and first in class.

Day 1 run to Finke all done and dusted, Keven Murphy and Craig McCarthy started in 29th place and have made there way up to 16th overall on track position. Still waiting on corrected time to see the start position for tomorrow morning on the run back to the finish line in Alice Springs.

29th position in qualifying yesterday for car 439 of Kevin Murphy 🇺🇸 and Craig McCarthy 🇳🇿 with a time of 5:09.
the start time for them in today’s race to Finke is 7:48:30 (10:18:30 NZ time) for anyone interested in watching the live stream. Unlike the qualifying track we think the race track is going to favour the full size trucks however dust is going to be a serious factor today.

Boston Morgan Horan and Will Haddoch 🇳🇿 have qualified 3RD overall with a time of 4:39! They will be starting at 7:32 (10:02 NZ time)

At the 2026 Finke desert race with Kevin Murphy 🇺🇸, Craig Mcarthy 🇳🇿 and the rest of the VMC Racing crew. pre running and tech inspection all done, Qualifying tomorrow then racing Sunday and Monday. I am trying to post regular updates on YouTube (Ferg Crabb) and will try to update how we are getting on on Facebook.

Great drive from 310 Connor Nicklin yesterday. Well deserved class win and 3rd outright!

Unfortunate end to our day yesterday with 357 Arron Crabb. After qualifying 12th and putting in a good first few laps something inside the gearbox let go send bits through the crown wheel which put a stop to his run. Thank you to all who were involved in getting the car ready and getting it to the event.
