Proudly sponsored by Turners Sports, and wearing their new kit for the first time, the Men's 1st's backed up their win last week with a 3 nil home victory over Moturoa AFC.

Ten minutes in Tommi Hart ran on to a long ball, rounded the keeper and slotted home. The boys were on top for most of the half, missing some great chances. Moturoa had a couple of good chances, but top work from Hamish Bunyan and Luke Spring kept them out.

It didnt take long into the second half for the boys to double their lead, another long ball from Zak Hughes for Matthew Fellingham to slide it into the bottom corner.

A third came when another long ball found Tommi Hart in the channel, and he laid on an easy tap in for Matt Fellingham to get a second.

We head to Massey next week to take on PNU, at 245pm.

The Turners Sports Men's 1st's welcome Moturoa AFC to Timona Park for a 245pm kickoff in the Western Premiership.

One change to the starting lineup with the return of Vinnie Gil, Riley Jenkins makes way.

Coming off a big three points last week away to Levin, the boys are fired up to get into it back on home soil.

Looks like the weather is half decent, so get yourselves on the bank and cheer the lads on!!!

In the 1230pm kickoffs at Fortress Timona, the ๐‰๐ž๐ง๐ง๐ข๐š๐ง ๐‡๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Œ๐ž๐ง'๐ฌ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ look to back up their first win of the season taking on Takaro Benchwarmers. Whilst the ๐†.๐‰.๐†๐š๐ซ๐๐ง๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐ž๐ง'๐ฌ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ can move up to 3rd in the league with a win over Whanganui City 1st's.

At 1pm the ๐–๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐งโ€™๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ฌ๐ญโ€™๐ฌ take the field at Timona against Levin 1stโ€™s. A goalless draw in the first game between the two sides, and only a point separating them in the table, this should be a super competitive game. The Turners Sports Men's 1sts are heading back to Feilding with the three points and a clean sheet in the bag after a solid performance down in Levin.

We had several chances to go ahead before Andrew Cotton leapt highest to power a header home from a Zak Hughes corner.

A big save from Hamish Bunyan on a one on one saw the boys take a lead into halftime.

We knew Levin would push hard for an equalizer but the boys stepped up big time and repelled all their attacks.

Onto next week where we host Moturoa.

The Turners Sports Menโ€™s 1stโ€™s are back at home for the first time in nearly a month welcoming FC Western Reserves to Timona Park for club day.

The boys are looking to get back to winning ways after a couple of tough games on the road, with the only change to the starting lineup being the return of Vinnie Gil.

Itโ€™s a big day at Timona with six of our teams at home for club day, with three games at 1230pm and three more at 245pm it would be great to have your support on the sidelines.
