Eltham Athletics Club 2020 season, will commence on Thursday October 19th at 6:30pm. We will have registrations on this night and the three consecutive club nights after. This will allow children the opportunity to participate in our athletics programme before committing to the season. We welcome new and old members, families and the community to come and support our club, encourage our children a
nd help with the running of club nights and events. Members are registered at the age before 1st January 2021.
2020 Registration fee will be set at $10 per athlete which includes the issue of our Eltham Athletics Club singlet (a dark t-shirt can be worn underneath) and shorts which are to be worn on club nights, ribbon days, inter-club, Colgate games, Taranaki champs and all registered meets.This is to be handed in at the end of the season. The registration fee can be paid on any of the first 5 club nights. Our '6 yrs and under programme' includes fun races and games that introduce participants to athletics. Our '7 yrs and above programme', offers athletes the opportunity to participate and compete in field events which include shot put, discus, long jump and high jump (10 years and over). And Track events which include 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m running races and 4x100m relay races, and long distance race walking events. The Eltham Athletics Club members have the opportunity to attend and participate at ribbon days, inter club, NOROK cup, Taranaki champs, Colgate games and other registered events. Eltham Athletics Club will also be hosting the Nexans Fun Run/Walk Series on the 14th of March 2021. We welcome and encourage all members, families and our community to volunteer and get involved in the running of this event. Eltham Athletics Club Committee Members 2020
