Matt is a personal trainer and running coach with over 12 years of experience in the fitness industry. Matt can help you achieve your fitness goals whether it is to run 5kms or 100kms+, sport specific training such as building strength for the rugby season or simply to improve your fitness level. Matt has trained clients of all levels of fitness, from high school students to Olympic athletes. He h

We have started off the week with a big group session for King’s Birthday.

While the main street of Eketahuna was quiet, The Training Shed definitely wasn’t.

We had a full session in the gym, with 1 person on the bike, 1 on the rope, and everyone getting through 2 AMRAPs.

A solid effort from everyone who turned up on a public holiday. Nice one team 👏

It's nearly Race Day again! Some of the team are headed up to Hawkes Bay this weekend for our annual trip! We are headed off early so the last session for the week will be Wednesday 6am. There will be no Wednesday 9am this week.

We will be back to it next Monday morning!

Awesome day for The Training Shed crew at Christchurch today. Conditions were mint, Ben Dandy had a strong run in the marathon smashing his goal time of 2:58 by finishing in 2:56 (12th in his age group), and Shannon McKenna dug deep in the Half Marathon after the doc recommending not to run. Dani Fryer ran with her for the first half and she kept pushing through for a strong finish. 🏃🏻‍♀️

There are no sessions tomorrow morning (Monday) but the evening session will be on provided flights are on time.

An extra Tuesday 6am session will be running for those missing their morning fix for the week!!

Hope everyone had a great Easter Long Weekend! The clocks have been turned back and the days are getting shorter, so keep your eye out for a time change at Track in the coming weeks.

This weekend we are off to Christchurch Marathon with a couple of cool kids. There will be no sessions this Friday, Saturday or next Monday morning.

We will be running an extra session this Thursday morning at 6am so get your final group workout in then or Thursday afternoon at 5pm.
