Now...Sadly everyone the pool temp is hovering between 19 and 20 so it is too cold for swimming tonight. Super super sorry!!!! This overcast day has no leant itself to heating. 😭😭 if your child would like one of my swimming toys as a gift from me to them, please let me know and I will arrange a time to get it to you! Thanks again everyone for being super stars in and out of the pool. I will treasure my memories of teaching you!!!!! Xx

There is a possibility that we may not be able to swim tonight because of the temperature. I will check it around midday and see but if it is lower than 20 I think we need to call it quits. Last week it was 22 and that was pretty cool for most of the kids. Super sorry and hope we can do the lesson but.. we shall see!!!! Will let you know by 1pm.
If I have to cancel, I will refund the lesson (and the one my last group missed) into your account. Xx

Last lesson on Thursday. 😭

I just wanted to say a massive thankyou to you and your kids. It has been such a pleasure getting to know the kids and swimming with them this term. Each and every one of them has shown enthusiasm and a willingness to try their best. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching them and am grateful to have been able to.

Heads up. Pool temp is only 22 today so wetsuits would be great if the kids have them. 😀

Morning all. I hope you have had a good week so far.
Now that the weather is feeling decidedly more cool and autumnal I just wanted to say that if your child has a wetsuit it would be a good idea to pop them in that for swim lessons this week. The temp is supposedly only going to get up to 19 on Thursday so I suspect the pool will feel a bit cooler than normal.
We only have two lessons to go so hopefully we make it to the holidays with fine weather!
My last group has three lessons to go due to missing one with that crazy storm we had. I will be in touch to plan a make up date and time for that soon.

Good morning everyone. I'm super sorry but I think I have got a bug from my recent trip to Christchurch. I got back yesterday and have woken up with a sore throat and sniffles so I'm going to have to cancel this week. We will add an extra week onto the other end of the lessons to make it up. Really sorry and will see you again next week.

Looking forward to lessons tonight. Forecast looking a bit dubious but I vote we just swim till we can't! Haha. Again, if there is thunder and/or lightning we will be hopping out. Not sure how much rain we can cope with so we will just play that by ear and I will leave that to your judgment. The temp may be on the cooler side today after some overcast weather so just be prepared for that too. See you all later. 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️😀

Right, well...there is obviously some weather coming our way but it is not rain and thunder yet so I say we give it a go tonight and see what transpires. If you hear thunder we will not be able to be in the pool so lessons during thunder will not go ahead. If it absolutely pours I suspect we will jump out too! Keep an eye on the weather and you make the call if your lesson is later than 3....I will make it from the pool. See you there! Will post on here as soon as I cancel if we have to.

Looking forward to lessons tomorrow however am wary cause my weather app says thunderstorms and lightening are headed our way?! So...I will update this page and email those who aren't linked in here round 2pm tomorrow depending on how weather is looking. It is health and safety protocol not to be in the water if lightening is forecast so we shall see what transpires!
