Hi everyone, as you all know, golf clubs have rules that apply when playing on the course. I will clarify a couple of things after receiving some feedback from green fee players and members.

PLAYING NUMBERS: Playing in a group of four or less is ideal; we will allow groups of five as long as you give way to smaller groups as soon as possible. Please, no groups of six or more players.

PARKING: Please do not park in the office bearers' parks, which are well signposted. There is plenty of room in the public car park; thanks.

DRESS CODE: Our dress code on the course is pretty relaxed. As far as footwear goes, though, gumboots are not permitted on the course or in the clubhouse, and neither are bare feet; please wear appropriate footwear.

GOLF ETIQUETTE: Please respect other people playing a round. If they are playing a shot, keep noise and movement to a minimum if you are close to them. Replace divots and repair pitch marks on the greens; thanks.

Wasn't a great weather day for closing day. It still was a good fun day with a lot of laughs had. Thanks to all those who bought prizes for the Xmas hampers, as you can see from photos they were very good. Thanks to Steve Madigan for organizing those.
A big thanks to everyone that helped out before, during and after the golf. John Paterson for setting the course up, (thanks might not be the right word) some quite challenging Tee shots were required.

Another tournament done and dusted. Almost a full field for the Cash cow tournament.
Quite a few non club members playing which was good to see, Thanks for taking time out to enter our tournament.
Congratulations to the winners, Dan Burns and Mark Watson on a 2.75 which was the lowest handicap, a great effort in the conditions to shoot a nett 62.5.

There is a few people to thank for their efforts over the day.

Brodie Burridge and Tessa for looking after the on course BBQ
Ron Andrew and Bryan Pearce our volunteer barman for the afternoon
Wayne Ferguson for getting course into shape and getting nearest the pin markers out.

Special thanks to all our lady members who without hesitation got the after match food out as well as cleaned up and did all the dishes, much appreciated ladies, thank you all very much.
There were other helpers, Fred, Stu, and those who offered, thank you. If I have forgotten anybody, I'm sorry.
Also thanks to Nigel from Blackhead Quarry for donating the sides of lamb for the raffle.
Hope you all enjoyed the day despite the on/off weather, hopefully we can do it again next year.
