⚽️ WEEKEND RESULTS ⚽️

Season is temporary; swag is forever. 😌

Our Men’s Premier put out a dominating performance in a heated clash for second place against Mosgiel, but were unfortunate not to find the back of the net in a 0-0 draw. 🤝

Overall, our boys finish on the podium in 3rd place of the Southern Premier League! 🔥 (you heard it here first, bronze is the new black) (thank me later)

Our Men’s Fletcher Cup saddled up for a good hustle against the league leaders and cranked up the horsepower after conceding early, but ultimately went down 2-1 to Roslyn Wakari. 🫡

Season-long sizzle is crazy work ngl. 🤷

One last rodeo for the season (*sniffle*), the cowboys of our Men’s Fletcher Cup will be ready to stirrup the heat against Roslyn Wakari on the Turf at 12:30pm! 🔥

Straight afterwards at 3pm, it’s a spiffing SPL silver-medal second-place showdown between our Men’s Premier and Mosgiel! ‘Nuff said. Get amongst. 🤝

Keen to play in the upcoming Women’s National League this year? 👀

SU – Otago University AFC is calling for expressions of interest from players keen to compete in the 2026 Women’s National League.

We’re keen to hear from interested players as the club explores entering a team in this year’s competition.

Players will be contacted with further information.

The competition is provisionally scheduled to run from the weekend of 26 September to 21 November 2026, with the Grand Final scheduled for 28 November.

⚽️ WEEKEND RESULTS ⚽️

Kinda chic ngl. 🤷

Running it back to last Wednesday night, it was nothing less than a crowning performance from our Men’s Fletcher Cup, who reigned in a sizzling 5-0 victory over Dunedin City Royals! 🔥

Alas, there must have been just sauce for days as our Men’s Premier also followed up with a dominating 3-0 win on Friday against Dunedin City Royals! 😮‍💨 (here bro, you dropped this 🫴👑)

Yesterday, our Women’s Premier finished their South Island League campaign with a 3-0 loss to Cashmere Technical. A rather ✨misleading✨ scoreline, it was a stellar performance from our ladies against the league champions with chances created left and right, and it was props to Cashmere who were more clinical in putting away their chances on the day. 🤝

Overall, our girls finish on the podium in 3rd place of the South Island League! 🙌 (how’d you know bronze was my favourite colour)

Cheeky shoutout to our Hat-Trick Hottie this week - Charlie Scott from Men’s Fletcher Cup. 🥵 (and to our men’s social teams who all ate) (ate one)

On Sunday, it’s the final act for our Women’s Premier (*grabs tissues*), and what fizzingly feistier of a last game than one against the league champions, Cashmere Technical! Bring the noise for the ladies at 2:30pm on the Turf. 💪

Not long to go! ✨

Wouldn’t put it pasture to know the thoroughbreds of our Men’s Premier were mare-ly barn ready to rein in a saucy 3-0 victory over Roslyn Wakari! 🔥 (joust fire me already)

Our Men’s Fletcher Cup saw a strong start to the game to take an early lead, but a last minute comeback from Grants Braes ultimately left our boys down 4-3. ✊

Up the motu today, our Women’s Premier controlled the game of ✨possession✨, but were unfortunate not to find the back of the net anymore against a defensive Nelson Suburbs to draw 1-1. 🫡

Our Women’s Reserves also dominated onfield with a ✨possessional✨ game (i respect the consistency here), but were neigh-be foal-ing a little goal-shy in a 0-0 stall-emate with Roslyn Wakari. 👀
