🏆 EOY PRIZE GIVING
📅 Sunday 20th September
📍Village Green Club Rooms
🕑 Please see the times below as they are grouped:

● 6th, 7th & 8th grades: 9:30am

● 9th & 10th grades: 11:00am

● 11th & 12th grades: 12:00pm

● 13th–15th grades: 1:00pm

👕 UNIFORM RETURN:
If your child has no tournament games after prize giving, please bring your childs uniform along to the EOY prize giving to hand in 👍🏻
PLEASE ensure it is washed & clean ready to be handed out again next year 🙏🏼

If you have ever thought about joining the committee, we are looking for new members for next year!

Many of our current committee members have children who are getting close to aging out, so we’re looking for some fresh faces and new ideas to help shape the future of the club.

You don’t need to be a football expert! Whether you have a passion for sport, enjoy helping in the community, or simply want to make a difference for local kids, we’d love to hear from you. 👋🏼

Three years ago, our Women’s Southern Premier League team almost didn’t exist. Running incredibly low on numbers, this resilient group of women refused to give up, and went on to win the league.

Two seasons later, they’ve done it again. And again.

Fierce. Loyal. Relentless. And one hell of a tough group of ladies.

We couldn’t be prouder of this incredible team and everything they’ve achieved together.

Three years. Three titles. And an unforgettable group of women🔰

🔰 WAITAKI TOURNAMENT RECAP 🔰

🃏 11TH GRADE ACES

👥 COACH: Al Rickerby

👏🏻 Here's a recap of the Waitaki tournament for the 11th Grade Aces from their coach!

"I took the 11th Grade Aces through to Oamaru a few weekends ago to compete in the 11/12th grade competition.

It was a great chance for the boys to play 9 aside on a bigger field as a taster of what’s to come for next year.

Unfortunately we had a player go down sick on the day so we started with 9 but with plenty of keen GI siblings around we were able to call in some reinforcements to help us out.

The boys played really well against good competition and came away with a few good wins and some closely fought loses. We played 6 games in total and ended up 11th over all.

Boys had a great day and the tournament was very well run.

All the boys had their moments. Awesome goals were scored, tackles and saves made but the most important part was that the boys learnt how to play on a bigger field with more room and really started to allow the ball to do the work which was awesome to watch.

Player of the tournament for us was Lachie Noora who was solid every game and slotted a well taken penalty. Well done mate.

Thanks to all the parents and my Team Manager John Moyle who always goes above and beyond to help me and the team out".
