Client Spotlight - Mike
What made you try Reformer Pilates?
I originally started because of an ankle injury - I needed something low impact that would help rebuild strength, stability, and mobility without making things worse. Reformer felt like the right balance of controlled movement and strength work, and it’s stuck.
What’s kept you coming back?
The challenge. There’s always a way to make things harder, and I like that you can keep progressing without it feeling repetitive. It’s also been huge for my mental health - good way to switch off and just focus on what you’re doing for an hour.
What changes have you noticed?
Stronger across the board, especially through my legs and core. Balance and control are way better, and my ankle’s held up solid. It’s carried over into everything else I do.
Favourite (or least favourite) movement?
Anything single leg is usually a good test…
Curtsey lunges - not so much.

Mike’s been with us since opening week and is just shy of his 100th class👏🏼
Always chasing the harder option, side-eye when curtsey lunges get called, and a laugh that carries across the room.
Good people make good studios - we’re lucky to have you as part of ours🤍
