Wednesday results

Another solid field for yesterday's medal and putting.

It was a 3 way tie with Eric McLellan Ollie Piggott and Norm Evans all on nett 70.

Youth again featured throughout the results with young Ollie Piggott winning the putting on 24 while the just as young Mike Minty secured the nearest the pin and a 2 alongside everyone's favourite Ians, with Cameron claiming a double.
Thanks to the duty/bar crew especially dealing with more tech issues.

What's on at the Park?

At the time of writing the skies have turned to Grey and winter moist grip has tightened.

Despite this, the course is still in fair condition. Just a friendly reminder you can all help us keep it this way by avoid trudging through soft areas and keeping trundlers off tees at all times. It all helps.

Wednesday sees the Rambling Rovers playing a Blue tee medal and putting... Just kidding, back to whites folks. Report time by 9.45. Forecast looks hit and miss but great to see 48 out last week.

Saturday
The men are playing a casual stableford round while we don't have the women's infomation at present but as usual an 8.30am kick off for them.

Sunday
Our Intermediate Blue team host..... In their semi final at 8.30am. They have right of way throughout the morning. Good luck to them.

As usual visitors are most welcome to join our club days, even more so during the week.

The course is seeing less traffic during week nowadays resonating that of country course.
Sometimes you can count the golfers playing on one hand in the afternoons but at least the course has a chance to breathe again.

What's on at the Park?

The calm spell has come to an abrupt end this week with the wind whistling through with extravagant gusto.

Goods news is at least it looks like the frosts will be kept at bay with some milder winter temps on the cards for the next week. Greens are still pushing a little bit of growth which has also brought on a little disease in places.

On Wednesday the Rambling Rovers (who's average field age dipped significantly last week with a couple of young bucks joining the field) play a single par. Report time 9.45am, forecast looks lovely.

On Saturday we have the Blue Tee Ambrose for the men. Contact Pete if you'd like to play this so he can do his best to shuffle any additional players into suitable teams. While the women play a Putting and LGU +PF.

Sunday
We host intermediate pennants so the course will closed until after lunch. Good to see Intermediate Blue leading the way.

As usual visitors are most welcome to join club days particularly this Saturday to test out our blue course as well be after some feedback as to what's do-able and what might not be. Great to see a big field for this one off occasion.
