On 15 July 2014, me, Jacqui and Stella made the biggest call of our lives.
Packed up the car, left the warm sunny Hokianga, and headed deep south to Dunedin for a fresh start.
The next few years were straight mahi mode. Grinding, learning, finding our rhythm.
Somewhere along the way I married my best friend under Aoraki maunga, and our whānau grew to five with the arrival of our two boys, Rocky and Matakaea.
Nearly 12 years in the South.
Our love for travel and adventure took us right across Te Waipounamu — mountains, moana, bush, and everything in between.
The people we met along the way became whānau. Lifelong friends. Memories we’ll always carry.
That journey taught us something big: anything is possible.
Don’t sit back making excuses — just do it.
So here we go again.
Packing up the ute, loading the dreams, and heading across the ditch 🇳🇿➡️🇦🇺
Not running away — just chasing mahi, new missions, and a bit of that Aussie sun ☀️
Aotearoa will always be home.
Whenua in the heart, salt in the veins, kai moana on the mind.
This is just the next chapter for the team.
Big aroha to everyone who’s backed us, yarned with us, dived, hunted, fished, laughed and shared kai along the way.
We’ll be back — you can’t get rid of us that easy 😅
Watch this space… the team goes international.
Kia kaha. Kia māia. Kia manawanui. 🤙🏽
