UNDER 15 PLAYERS WANTED!

The Cardinals are looking for a few more players to complete our U15 team—and one of those spots could be yours!

Maybe your current team has too many players. Maybe you’re a pitcher or catcher ready for a starting role. Maybe you’ve been thinking about getting back into the game.

Whatever your “maybe” is, this could be your chance to make it happen!

Join a welcoming, supportive club, meet some great people and enjoy plenty of time on the diamond. The season starts **3 October**, so now is the perfect time to step up to the plate!

🥎 We’re still on the hunt for two awesome coaches!🥎

The Cardinals need:

🟢 1 × U7 Coach
🟢 1 × U11 Coach

You don’t need to have all the answers—we’ll provide full support from the committee and our other coaches whenever required. Assistants can also be provided to help with team management.

Giving back to junior sport is incredibly rewarding, and every volunteer helps keep our kids active, connected and in the game.

🥎 **ONLINE COACHING DEVELOPMENT – STAGE 1** 🥎

We encourage all current and aspiring Cardinals coaches to complete Softball New Zealand’s online **Stage 1 Coaching Module**.

The module:

✅ Takes approximately 30 minutes
✅ Earns your first 10 coaching credits
✅ Includes videos featuring White Sox players
✅ Provides a certificate upon completion
✅ Keeps you informed when the next coaching session becomes available

Please note that the module needs to be completed in **one sitting**, so make sure you have around 30 minutes available before starting.

Whether you’re an experienced coach or considering coaching for the first time, this is a great opportunity to build your knowledge and support the development of our Cardinals players.

Ever wondered what it feels like to swing for the fences, make a great catch or fire the ball across the diamond? Now’s your chance!

The Cardinals are hosting a fun and welcoming **Have a Go Day**, and everyone is invited!

📅 **20 September** 10am - 1pm

Location: Sunnyvale Sports Centre

Whether you’re completely new to softball, returning after some time away or simply looking for a fun sport to try, we’d love to see you there.

✅ All ages welcome
✅ No experience needed
✅ Meet our players, coaches and club members
✅ Try batting, throwing, catching and other softball activities
✅ Bring your friends and family along

There’s no pressure and no expectation—just come along, have some fun and discover what being part of the Cardinals is all about.
