The Emerson's Dunedin Marathon includes the Marathon, a Half Marathon, 10km, and 5km run. Established in 1979, it is one of the most scenic Marathons in New Zealand. The Marathon starts at the new cycle/walk way in Portobello on the Otago Peninsula and runs around the beautiful Otago Harbour before an exciting finish at Emerson's! All of the other events will be centred around the Logan Park/Emerson's area.

Rightio folks. The countdown has begun!
Some of you will be tapering, others will be feeling great, while others who've had injuries or bugs to contend with will be feeling a slight sense of panic. All is normal and as it should be.
Its going to be a great event. Everything is in line to make this yet another amazing day for Dunedin.
If you haven't entered yet, whats holding you back? The thrill of the start and the finish line are within your grasp. Go for it!

Things are ramping up toward Race Day on September 13.
Its a no brainer folks, but don't be tardy. Get your entry in before Midnight tomorrow, Monday 17th August to guarantee your name (or nickname or false name, we don't care!) on your race bib. You've done your training, you've endured winter coughs and colds and injuries which have frustrated your efforts, but hey, no runner ever stood at a race line and said they were happy with their training. Time to commit. Its going to be a great day and a great event. You'll be surrounded by like minded runners and walkers whose collective energy is huge!!!..... and whats wrong with finishing at a brewery? Jump on in and secure your entry now!
