Congratulations to all the clubs, players, and referees that picked up awards at last night’s Southern Football Awards.

Our Men’s Div 1 Fletcher Cup team collected the Chinese Charity Cup for a second consecutive season after beating Roslyn Wakari in the final.

Our Mens Div 2 team won their league.

We shared the Frank Peacock Cup with Dunedin City Royals for both clubs’ efforts in this years Chatham Cup.

Eli Urwin was awarded both Goalkeeper of the year backing up winning the same award in 2025, and also this season’s Player of the Year.

Sam Cosgrove was awarded Midfielder of the Year.

And we retained the Blair Davidson Shield again.

Congratulations to former Northern AFC player Rory Hibbert from the coaches, your former teammates, and our ultras at Northern on playing in the 2026 Chatham Cup Final in front of a record breaking crowd of 11,267 at One NZ Stadium in Christchurch on the weekend.
