To All Bowlers

The Dunedin Lawn Bowls Stadium will be OPEN on Easter Monday the 6th of April from 9.30am until 2.00pm for bowlers to come in and register for the upcoming Indoor season.

For those that can do this it would be greatly appreciated. It will certainly help congestion at the counter for the first day of each session.

Roll Ups are also available during the above hours.

Good afternoon all Bowlers, Not long now, and it's the start of another exciting season at New Zealand's Best Indoor Bowls facility.

The Leagues/Mini Tournaments start on Monday the 13th of April. Entry sheets will be put up at the Stadium on Monday morning the 16th of March.

You can come in, or phone Entries on 4561144. Please give your Name, Club and Phone Number.

To help and save congestion at the counter on the first day of Leagues/ Mini Tournaments, paying Subs in advance would be really appreciated. You can go to bowlsstadium.nz then click on Subscriptions 2026/2027 and follow the prompts.

Alternatively, you can come into the Stadium and pay.

Might pay to check first that someone is at the Stadium.

As in previous years, for the first session of 6 weeks, the first 16 entries into each event will complete the field.

Reserves are most welcome and needed in case of withdrawals

Hello to you all.
Hope you are having a successful and enjoyable Outdoor season of bowls. The weather has really been a mixed bag for sure.
It has been a very busy period for the Stadium with many different events being held over the last 4-5 months. Thank you to all the volunteers that have made these events possible.
Our 2026 Indoor season is fast approaching with the Opening being Monday the 13th of April. More details for the Leagues etc will be posted in the next two weeks.
As you are all aware each session is managed by volunteers at the front desk. They all make an enormous contribution to the success of the Leagues.
We are looking to train some volunteers to assist at the front desk for our morning sessions during the week. Full training will be given to you by the current volunteers.
The sessions run from 9.30am to 12.30am. We have a Monday and a Wednesday morning to be filled.
If you have time and are interested, please call me on 0273552819. It is an enjoyable and sociable time with fellow bowlers.
