No mums groove today as everyone is super busy silly season, the kids are home and Ppl are going away!
Happy holidays everyone!
I went to our local yoga class night.... And realised it had been 6 months since the last! It felt sooooo goood! After battling with my mind chattering about how difficult it felt and how long I had kept myself from this kind of discipline and my body resisting for about 20 minutes until I entered that flow...i found that zen again you just can't get by doing stretching and exercise and yoga at home with all the interuptions around!
It's so important to get out and about to be able to fully let go and get the full benefits of a practice. Guidance is brilliant for you to simply listen and follow.
One sentence really got me last night during one particular movement sequence...
"Enjoy the movement. "
And I thought yeah, how much do I do something, to complete it, to "get thru it", to come out the other side and feel really good, but I sometimes am forgetting to really feel into it whilst it's happening and appreciate the opening, stretching and muscles moving in my body at the time it's actually being done! ..
So, enjoy your day, enjoy each moment, each movement, each task...
