Morena Yogis, the Gods are smiling on us this morning. I hope you have the opportunity today, to grab some sunshine. We will be working with essential oils for the next 2 weeks as we wind down towards the holidays. I find the oils often deepen your focus enhance your practice and aid in relaxation. Another gorgeous NZ morning fellow Yogis. I hope this finds you well and keen for Yoga tomorrow morning. Our focus will be on meeting your Dharma. Like greeting an old friend, moving out of the head and into the heart - an opportunity to remember who you are amongst the change and chaos we are encountering each day. As our moon moves into its last phases, the energy begins to soften. You may find your sleep improves, you can breathe a little deeper and things may look a little brighter. Good Morning Yogis. Wishing you all a wonderful Kings Birthday weekend. Take some time to nurture yourselves as the weather changes and we see winter on the horizon. This week we will consider "resilience" and the role it plays in our yoga practice and our lives. As we keep showing up, week after week, little by little our bodies soften and bend a little more. We may notice our breath becomes a little deeper, our thinking a little clearer and our emotions a little more balanced. Yoga has a way of building resilience - none of us are immune to life's ups and downs but with the wise practice of Yoga we learn to weather the storms, show up for each other and strengthen our own resolve to be the best version of ourselves. Thank You to this beautiful gathering of women who opened their hearts and minds to my "Finding Your Dharma" workshop. The last 4 Friday mornings have been a deep dive into self-reflection, sharing stories, aromatic mentoring and meditation - that which lights-us up. Ki ora Yogis. Autumn is closing in now and we can certainly feel the beginnings of winter, judged by the temperature in the studio. I am dehydrating the last of the persimmons and delighted how tasty and colourful they are. Week 6 of our second term already, our focus building warmth and strength in a beautiful flow practice. Morena, another stunning Autumn morning in the North. I hope you have the chance today to step into it, breathe in the pristine air and take a moment. This week, as we continue contemplating our Dharma (our mission and purpose) let's find some determination and strength in our plank pose. Plank is about so much more than just staying up there - alignment is key, moving the shoulders forward to create a strong and sturdy foundation, gripping the fingertips into the mat - using them as your braking system, finding the will to hold, then coming down with control. It's going to be chilly in there, bring something warm for Savasana. See you tomorrow 9.30am and 6pm gorgeous Yogis x

Good morning Yogis, another pristine day in the North. This evening (6pm @ THE PONO LODGE) we will be working with Drishti (focus) and its roll in our balancing postures. Metaphysically as we align our drishti, we also align with our dharma. (our life path).
The first of our series of 4 Workshops - " FINDING YOUR DHARMA"
begins on Friday (tomorrow 9.30am). We will be working with essential oils, meditation and mind mapping to chart your path of harmony and stability as you move forward. Namaste Diane x
