Life is a strange thing at times and can bring things full circle in unexpected ways.

This week we moved back to Dargaville to the property we left 18 months ago, it’s the farm where I spent a lot of my life growing up, riding ponies and making memories. There is so many good memories here of ponies and people that are no longer with us as well as many that are still, my special horses are buried on the property and it’s is a feeling of peace to be back here knowing we can look after and respect their final resting spots again.

Pat and I have been blessed with the opportunity to purchase the farm which includes the arena, round pen and new shed we built 3 years ago.

I’m looking forward to having a place to call home and make memories with our boys. I’m very excited to have the amazing shed we built and a place to ride and train without having to leave home.

The transition back to Dargaville feels easy and familiar but it does come with some juggling, Pats job is Whangrei based as well as for the last nearly two years my business has been focused on teaching lessons in the Whangrei area as well as the boys now having activities there too.

I will definitely be looking at what my business looks like in this new chapter and will keep everyone informed if/when I’ll be taking horses for training and teaching lessons and camps ect from home again.

For now I will be staying with adult ride in Whangarei on a Tuesday and lessons that day too, as well as lessons in the ruakaka/Waipu area on a Wednesday.

We are glad to be back and looking forward to what the future holds for us on the farm, and how we get to use this special place to support encourage and grow other people too.
