Hi..this is from council public notice page. Our grounds open until next Wed 4th and closed to the Monday. Be aware of activity in main domain. I do need to confirm that our jumps paddock still available till Wed 4th.

Cust Domain Closure for Cust Rumble Event

Please be aware that Cust Domain will be closed to the public from Monday 2 November until Wednesday 11 November 2026 while preparations, event activities and pack-down take place for the Cust Rumble 2026.

Set-up will begin on Monday 2 November, with pack-down expected to be completed on Wednesday 11 November.

During this time, the domain will not be available for general public use. Please do not enter through or go beyond the closed gates, as event staff and contractors will be working on site.

What: Cust Domain Closure for Event set up/activities/pack down.
When: Monday 2 November – Wednesday 11 November

The Cust Rumble is a public, ticketed event. For information about the event, tickets or attendance, please contact the organisers through thecustrumble.co.nz

For next Sundays Club day (25th) we will be setting up some Working Equitation and Cowboy Challenges type obstacles and giving them a Halloween makeover.

Hi everyone, A couple of things.

Firstly you may have heard of the Cust Rumble the weekend of 7th November. We have made the decision to temp close the grounds to all members from Wed evening the 4th Nov and re open the Monday 9th November. This is a very large event taking up the whole of the Cust Domain. Le CUST this is locked and loaded for Sunday 29th November and will be full on Christmas themed this year. !! Entries out soon but save the date and start thinking of your costumes. :) Please let us know if you can help as we need around 20 ground crew to make this happen.

END of Month Sunday 25th October 10am. This will be fun day with obstacles and great way to practice for Le Cust. There will be some halloween themed things happening

It seems a bit ridiculous on a beautiful day like today but we are cancelling tomorrow’s ride for road safety, given the atrocious weather forecast.
If you’d like to do something for the road safety cause and you dabble in social media you can always post thanks to neighbours who do the right thing and pass wide and slow. Admittedly by law they should do the right thing but it always helps to be positive and thank them.
